I went to this practice today for a appointment and it was closed and never opened, sat there waiting for some time. Later on found out they're closed due to a water main break that occurred Friday, today's Monday and I waited in the parking lot for a bit . They could have at least used pen and paper and placed a sign on the door saying closed .

I was charged a co-pay for an office visit when checking in. A few days later I started getting bills for a diagnostic visit. The EOB is coded as a diagnostic visit. I didn't schedule a diagnostic visit. The visit was with a PA that just spoke to me. The EKG, for a few seconds (really), was paid. Years ago, the EKGs were more thorough. The ones I do at home with my kardia is longer. How can they say my heart is good with a 1 minute EKG check. This was not a diagnostic procedure. Diagnostic is when they run me on tread mill and check heart then. Or hook me up for 30 minutes to look. That evening my heart went at a high speed. I keep track with my Kardia. It was no different than my PCP visits. And I was told I had to go knowing I had no symptoms at the time. The doctor who left the practice said I could use my Kardia to track my heart. I ask the PA if I could show or use my Kardia that day, wouldn't allow it. I have records stored for comparison that would make testing accurate. I think the coding is wrong on this. Specialist is only 15.00 co-pay. How does it turn into a diagnostic visit. I owe more than insurance. OFFICE O/P EST MOD 30 MIN 12/27/2023 bill, $104.49 insurance, $28.90 my share, $75.00
