If I could give 0 stars I would. I applied a couple weeks ago and heard nothing. A week before I called to ask questions. Ive been calling every single number I could find for this place and now theyre not in service or go straight to voicemail. I even went up to the office, which was closed. A resident was also there and said shed be waiting for an hour. Theres no reason I should feel like I got scammed from a highly rated apartment complex. Now Im gonna have to call my bank to get my money back for the app fee. This is insane.

Move in was a breeze, the property manager was very sweet and walked me through the whole process with the paperwork as this was my first apartment so here's 5 stars!

I would happily recommend Hanna the property manager. She is so knowledgeable and helpful and kind. Other places that I look in the past, were very short and not professional. I think she an example of sheer professionalism. Im very grateful that she is taking the time to answer all of my questions and follow up with me on the outcome. Now, I would like to recognize Jess Davis, who is responsible for all this property and anything to do with problems or questions that I had with my unit. He is always out there working on some thing. Anytime I had a question or a problem he had given me a solution and taken care of it immediately. They are both valuable assets to your organization. As in the past, I have been a professional and would have hired them without question. It is absolutely a pleasure living in this community.

I'll start with the positives. When I lived here, the community was very safe and quiet. I had some neighbors that would sometimes put loud music on or have loud arguments with each other but nothing crazy that I couldn't live with. I also really enjoyed that there was laundry on site. My biggest issues with this place were with the previous owners, but the company that took over shortly before I moved out (GVA) could use a little improvement themselves. I had a maintenance issue with my A/C that had not been working correctly since the beginning of June 2022, and when I attempted to have it fixed with the new management, it took another couple weeks for them to respond saying it was fixed, just for the HVAC unit to malfunction the same way about a week later. My other big issue is that after I moved out, I did not receive any communication on when I would receive my prorate check for the latter half of August 2022 after I had moved out. I have been going back and forth with GVA trying to get a check sent and every conversation I have with them ends the same way. "I'll give you a call in the next two days" (I never get one, I initiate the phone call every time). The room I had was great in my opinion, just be prepared for a lot of headaches if you end up living here. This being said, I believe Marquis (not sure if I'm spelling it right) has been very helpful trying to explain what's happening with the money to me in our phone calls, so I won't say the management here is completely inept. It does worry me, however, that I'm still having to worry about these things after it has been over 2 months since I moved out. It also doesn't help that you have to call the office multiple times before someone will answer during hours of operation.
