For full details read the FB review page Update. The deposit was returned (after telling in a review the apartment was left nasty. The document you signed and check you wrote says different. The lease violations still have not been given in writing but you bashed on an anonymous page how bad we were. Shouldnt you have provided the proof in writing. documentation tells the story. Documents tell the truth. Enough said. Update. After many attempts we are still waiting for a response about our security deposit and WHY our lease was terminated without cause. We were NEVER WARNED there was a lease violation(s). We have many times asked for a detailed letter why with warning document signed by us. This cant be presented because it there are none. Current management is refusing to acknowledge this request in form of emails. Emails are ignored. This is not only my experience but of other tenants too. Update. Thank you so much everyone that has private messaged myself or my daughter. We all share similar stories of a hostile living environment by the management or lack of maintenance on the properties. Everything will be helpful. Anyone else feel free to private contact me if you would like to share your experiences. You can fb message me. Im astonished at the stories. Dont waste your time here. Management is terrible. Save yourself headaches. Rent at your own risk. Pay attention to the truthful 1star reviews from not only here but other platforms. If you do rent here good luck. When Christina takes a dislike to you then you are SOL until your lease is up or she terminates without a reason like she did us. I have heard nothing but complaint after complaint but current tenants will not voice because of retaliation. Three in my building moved because of Christina. A huge sigh of peace now moving from that place. Extra note. Because of her behavior while we moved and from past conduct we will not share out new place even though we would love to. This is for our safety. The current place has been amazing. We told them the situation and they said we needed to get out of that environment. They heard other similar stories.

I cant recommend an apartment complex where management would leave my family with rusty water for months along with black mold that wasnt addressed, where management would not take safety concerns seriously (my wife found a razor blade in front of our apartment. The dirt is eroding away from under building 1211, someone on an upper unit has railing missing on their porch. The concrete is chipping away on the bottom of the pool causing a safety concern for swimmers), where management would get in my wifes face and yell at her in her own apartment in front of our 3 year old (she isnt the only one this happened to), where management would call the police on a tenant for checking their mail and make a false report about them, and where management would wrongfully terminate a lease without a reason despite asking many times over the course of about two months, and much more. This all happened both while I was away on active duty military orders as well as home with my family. Upon moving out after our lease was terminated out of what seemed to be vindictive nature, the property manager, Christina Jones, decided to video tape us moving at any and all hours, even late into the night she would sit in her vehicle and watch us move. It was also during the us time that she called police again (as we were moving) to make more false police reports and claim harassment when we werent bothering her. Some calls were made when we werent even at the complex (how does that make any sense?). Christina also likes to throw her property manager title around yet does nothing to actually help tenants and make them feel safe in the community. Instead, she adds to the stress and likes to think that the tenants work for her.. they dont, and she seems to forget that if it werent for the tenants living there, she wouldnt have a job. She couldnt even keep a maintenance man so many maintenance went undone for many residence. I experienced her hostility first hand when she refused to speak with me about an issue (I was not hostile at all), but instead yelled at me and claimed harassment. Arent property managers supposed to help tenants in any way they can?? Well this one doesnt; Instead, she uses her mediocre title to bully and harass tenants, at least from my experience. I cant recommend Huntington park apartments and never would. If you care about your mental well-being, spend a little more and rent from somewhere else. Somewhere with better management and somewhere where your safety is a top priority. Somewhere where the property manager cares about the tenants and doesnt throw a title around. Somewhere where maintanence gets done in a timely manner. And somewhere where property management is prompt to respond to concerns, If at all!! Thankfully, our new place is so much better and nicer than Huntington. And little does Christina know, we already had the place in the works because we knew we would not be renewing our lease in May due to the horrible living environment that Huntington was. In reality, she did us a HUGE FAVOR by getting us out of the lease early (this is probably the ONLY good thing she did the entire time!!)

They seemed nice but I did have to call to see if I got the apartment they never returned my call like she said she would and when I asked for their name for a review she wouldn't give it to me which seemed really strange it didn't bother me I got denied but they seemed less friendly after that other than that it seemed quiet and looked clean the inside of the apartment

I honestly cannot recommend Huntington Park to anyone. We lived there for 7 years and have not regretted moving away from it. There is a serious lack of care from the absentee owners, absentee property manager and absolutely no maintenance staff to speak of. From 2017 to February 2023 we had a leaky ceiling in our kitchen. It got so bad that a portion of the ceiling fell due to it being saturated with water. The light fixture in our kitchen also leaked water and the carpet in front of the AC unit was always sopping wet. The property manager and maintenance staff declined to fix the problem. Fast forward to Christmas of 2022 and we had a water main break due to cold weather. It took the absentee owners and property manager 4 days to remedy the situation thus ruining the long holiday weekend for some of the residents. This complex loves to raise the rent for long term residents, but refuse to repair or refurbish older units. In effect, the absentee owners DO refurbish units that are vacated only to rent them out to college students (at a much lower rent than what we were paying). The only tenants the property manager worries about are the college students and new residents. Avoid this place. Find another apartment complex to rent from.
