Hired Tripps team for a renovation as was recommended. They did 90% of the job as requested but did not finish completely- paint was missing in spots holes in the wall not filled, electrical plates were never replaced- the finish was completely missing. When we brought it up with Tripp he explained that he budgeted a certain amount of time for the project and that time was complete. Even though they didnt finish the job and address everything as we discussed, he decided to move his team to another job. We were told us to finish it ourselves. Was it a tremendous amount of work to finish out? No. This was really a flex from a contractor who wanted to move on to the next job, he had our money. It was very clear that finishing the job properly was not worth his time. For Tripp its about the billing not actually finishing the work agreed upon by the customer and his company. Even though the work that was completed was adequate we would absolutely never use Tripp again or recommend him to others because of the way he conducts business.

As good as any contractors we've worked with. Timely, fair, and high quality craftsmanship! They rate our highest recommendation..

Not very ethical. Tripp sneaks in a Cost Plus contract, not commonly used, on unsuspecting customer, so he can low ball estimate, get the job, then charge 20% more at the end. Then he decides the end leaving customer with an unfinished job on less than good quality, detailed work. Customer now has to fix things the Tripp team did not have the skill to do right. Like they say, "Caulk and Paint make a carpenter what he ain't". To avoid disappointment, suggest you look elsewhare.

My husband and I wanted to build some privacy walls on onto our outdoor living space. We contacted Tripp and went over what we wanted to do. From beginning to end his company was very professional and caring about our specific needs. The job was done in a fair amount of time and the finishing touches were superior. I will include pictures in this review. If we ever need work done again he will be the first person I call! Thanks Tripp and work crews.

I would first like to thank this customer for the opportunity to provide them with our services. After evaluating this review, there seems to be inconsistencies in their review that do not add up. If the customer only requested us to complete the job 90% then why would they mention not finishing. We always perform walkthroughs with either our Project Manager or Myself, at the end of a job. I can attest to never having any conversation with any of my customers pertaining to any work incomplete or having a conversation about a budget not allowing us to finish what is in our contracts. They mentioned that we finished all items that were discussed so I am not sure where was the communication breakdown was.We always wait to bill our customers after the work is complete and typically 2-3 weeks after work completion. We do our best to complete all jobs before moving on to the next job and we also offer a warranty. With proper communication from the customer we are able to complete all tasks requested. With daily communication with our customers, we would have been glad to address any issues that they felt were incomplete. We obviously were not give the opportunity. If you take a look at the other reviews, you will find that we have very satisfied customers that are always willing to provide letters of recommendations and have us back year after year for additional projects. We are very surprised to hear that this one customer was not satisfied with our work.

As with all of our potential customers, we are full disclosure and have a very explicit contract that states how we derive our calculations. It is not uncommon at all for a contractor to estimate and bill customers with a 20% markup as that is how companies stay in business. All contracts are gone over with the customer fully and the customers are aware of how we bill when they sign the contracts. It is not our practice to low ball any estimate to gain a customers business. Our reputation speaks for itself and we continue to have very satisfied customers. We also never leave a job incomplete as we have an outstanding crew that oversees all operations to make sure that we leave no stone unturned. It is my belief that this is not an actual customer and that it is a false review. Please see other reviews that are a true depiction of our work ethics, what other customers think of the quality of work and operation of business. I can assure you that you will not be disappointed by choosing Tripps Renovations for your next remodel.
