Advantage Chatuge Realty was recommended to our family by another agent in Georgia. When we first drove up to meet Ed, we were so impressed by his professionalism, warm personality, knowledge of the real estate business, and efficiency. Within 24 hours, he had successfully negotiated on our behalf (after market research), and we were under contract! Ed continued to go ABOVE and BEYOND all the way up to and after the closing. Heres our storys: We wanted to find a nice piece of land to build a home for semi-retirement and beyond. We wanted to find a property that allowed lots of privacy without feeling isolated. Our realtor, Gary Ward, was truly up for the task. Gary seemed to know exactly what we wanted and showed us properties (lots of them) that we wanted to see from our online searches, plus a few that he thought we would like. I think the time he spent with us to learn a little about our personalities and desires really paid off in the end. Gary spent numerous hours with us, driving us on unimproved roads, cutting branches along the way to clear a path (even cutting his shirt and scratching his car) to get us to that perfect property. If you ask, Gary will explain everything about mountain life, including weather, soil composition, drainage, sun exposure, living green (conservation), plants and tree types, etc, etc. A true source of knowledge that will make you a more informed buyer. On our second visit to the area, we found and purchased exactly what we wanted. Thank you Gary for making our next chapter dream come true. Youre the best!!

We are so appreciative for the hard work and persistence that Ed Reams put into getting our lot sold for a good price. He was truly a professional in every aspect of listing and selling our property. Ed went beyond all expectations when he took it upon himself to suggest contractors and experts for us to contact to get the lot in the most saleable condition possible. Ed kept in constant contact with us during the long-distance process and we value his friendship and the respectable way in which we were treated. We recently purchased a house on Lake Chatuge using Ed Reams of Advantage Chatuge Realty as our realtor. Since we currently live in Ohio a lot of the work was done remotely.
According to NC law, Ed, with our approval, acted as representing both the buyer and seller. He was meticulously honest and fair to both parties.
Ed was also EXTREMELY helpful to us as the buyer in providing information, going to to the property multiple times to gather more information, and providing us with contact info with local resources we need as we approach this life changing event. He was responsive to our every contact and request. I don't even know what Ed's commission was, but he earned every penny.
To sum up, I would highly recommend Advantage Chatuge Realty to anyone looking to buy or sell real estate in that area.
