ECU Health Wellness Center - Greenville

I wanted to give it 5 stars cause I'm glad they reopen but I swear it no where clean like it used to be before covid a gym this size and busy should have housekeeping there all day when it was Vidant housekeeping was there all day and it was clean. At least it should be housekeeping working 8am til 5pm or something.

Heated pool is a gem. Very clean facility. Friendly staff. 24 hour access. Staff hours accommodate most schedules. Group classes are free with membership and super engaging. Find your tribe and break a sweat!

I AM REALLY... TRULY... GAINING GREAT BENEFIT AS FAR AS MY HEALTH.. WITH ME BEING A MEMBER OF THE "ECU VIDANT LIFESTYLE WELLNESS CENTER"... I AM INDEED GETTING THE MOST OUT OF MY EXERCISES EACH NIGHT... WE ALSO HAVE GREAT STAFF WITH THIS FACILITY.. THEY ARE AVAILABLE FROM 8:00 A.M. TO 8:00 P.M.

I was very excited to see the gym open after being closed during the pandemic. Unfortunately, they filled the hot tub with cement, turned the sauna into a laundry facility, closed the steam room, and consolidated the crossfit room into the main gym. Today, most of the amenities are closed and the gym is full of equipment without much space between machines. It's difficult to see the difference between this gym and others in the area that are 1/2 or even 1/5 of the price. What is worse is I was asked if I had been a member before the gym closed in 2020. When I said I was a member previously, that would have been a great time to mention these major changes to the amenities. Instead, nothing was said and I learned about these changes only after visiting the gym weeks later as they are starting to open. I expect there will be many more people disappointed with these changes in the weeks ahead. This was the best gym in Greenville, now it is just like any other gym in the area.
