        My goodness. Every single time we come, there is a wait of at least an hour. You never see the Dr you are scheduled to see. Everyone in the waiting room gets very frustrated with the long wait times. We drive 79 miles, each way, to come here.

        Brought a friend for their first visit and arrived early. Lobby almost full of clients. After about 45 minutes of waiting and noticed a few clients giving up and leaving before being seen. Went to check on appointment they stated it would be another half hour before being seen. They stated that they have accepted a lot of new clients and are still working out the kinks to the additional clients- and stated it should be better this new year. I'm paraphrasing, but you get the idea. On deciding on whether or not to stay, a gentleman came in and sat down next to us. He stated he had left before being seen 2 months ago because of the wait time. (So this has been going on for at least 2 months??) Needless to say we left. The "system" needs to be fixed. Plenty of staff behind the desk. Only 1 Dr. Working. I heard the Dr. Is top notch, but I'll never know...

      The issue you experienced is due to 4 doctors in the area retired from surgery and 1 of those with the largest practice retired and no one took over his office. Both myself and the other Ophthalmology practice in town are recruiting new doctors. Needless to say we are looking for the right one not just someone to hire! As you stated I am highly regarded and want to hire someone who will provide the same high level of care.I hope you will give our practice another chance. We have taken interim measures to decrease wait times.
