ECU Health Medical Center Emergency Room

DONT COME HERE INLESS YOU REALLY NEED IT. I just had surgery, they told me I would get my prescriptions free in the ER at registration. I go to pick up my prescription and they tell me they dont have the paper work to give it to me for free. I call the ER room to see if they can send the paper work over. They asked me if I had an emergency and the transfer me somewhere and then hung up in my face. I called again and they did the same thing. The staff in the ER is so rude and wont let you know when something you need is pricy. No one knows prices or really what they are doing, theyll send you everwhere.

A 3rd rate veterinary clinic will give you better care than this place will. They simply do not care about their patients needs.

I would be embarrassed if I had a family member that worked here. The people of Google Reviews have spoken and ECU Health is a prime example of arrogance, ignorance, and incompetance. The people of Pitt County want a better emergency center.

Horrible hospital my mother was there for over 9 hours in so much pain and they did nothing. One doctor said he wasn't allowed to give her anything for the pain. The people that have covid were more important. One patient said to my parents you'll die here. This hospital is death they only care about here. If you need help don't go here. Sad.
