I want to praise the ones working the pharmacy on 4/5/2024 in the evening. Especially the guy who helped me. He went above and beyond to help me out! Without that help my brother would not have the medication he needs to survive right now. I'm so thankful to him and them for being compassionate, kind and understanding!

Im so frustrated and think the pharmacy is as well. Each month Im told my meds will be ready and each month I arrive to find out that I must wait on one or two. Unfortunately they are the ones I need ie blood thinner. I was told Id have to wait 90 minutes when the meds were supposed to be ready the day before I arrived. Really?? No. So after I just sat there looking at them the man expedited and ready in 10 minutes. I dont have anybody to pick my meds up for me so I try to pick up all at once. This happens monthly and then I feel rude for expecting it and being upset about having to wait 90 minutes. Today I found out something was called into Walgreens. Due to my darn insurance its cheaper at cvs. Earlier in the day they put in a call to my md. I called back asking if it could be transferred. Yes but it takes 24 hours which I know means 72 hrs being that I showed up a day late and my meds werent ready. I asked multiple times if this Med was in my pickup and was just told how many I had. Did she not want to check? Not have time? See it wasnt and not want to make the extra effort? Beats me. They are very busy. They need more assistance. Ive lost faith that my meds will be ready. Im choosing to pick up and pay MORE from Walgreens because by the time its transferred or the doc calls into pharmacy it will be 3 days. If they are that busy get them help. If they are not working efficiently well thats a different issue. If I go to the ED and have something called to the pharmacy by the hospital its fine by the time I arrive. My insurance insists I use cvs. I might have to rethink if there is another option in December. The pharmacy isnt happy, Im not happy, owners? Maybe
