Young lady was a Rude teller looked over first time but second time not no more will not be using this location no more if I had this experience at all would not bank here but luckily I have only have trouble with this location not twice but 3 times now

Buckle up readers, for I have a story to tell… Herein I relate my experiences with this bank spanning some years. My first issue arose in the building of my house. A small loan was taken out to aid in the purchase of land, with the understanding that it along with the construction loan would be rolled in together. Finances were reviewed, credit checked, & a cursory affirmation of (a quite fair interest rate) loan eligibility resulted. Time passes, land is purchased, home plans are designed, & a builder is lined up. A hurdle is reached. Come to find out the construction loan cannot be provided by S.B. Of course now I have already borrowed the land supplement from them. Oddly enough at another bank the construction loan is easily procured & at a lower interest rate. Now this seems to me something of a bait & switch as I now have a smaller (higher interest) loan & requisite checking account with S.B. Fine underwriting can be difficult. What followed were several mishandling & erroneous charges to said checking account. On multiple occasions the direct draft for the loan payment (the only use of the account) were not taken out, resulting in fees. These fees were refunded after multiple phone calls admittedly. The latest error arrived when two many payments were removed out of schedule resulting in over draft fees. The undue payments were returned but not the over draft fee, this was followed by yet another erroneous automatic payment on the loan resulting in yet another overdraft. This too was refunded, but you guessed it… not the over draft fees. If you’re keeping tally for a drinking game that’s two faults from S.B. resulting in monetary penalties to me. After calling multiple times & being told I would be contacted by a representative, I was forced to call another branch that then in turn contacted my branches manager & all fees were returned. This is not appropriate policy for a financial institution. I cannot in any way recommend to any individual to store ones money nor borrow money from southern bank. Shoddy systems & practices in place to profit off of their own errors. Had I not been observing my account these errors may have gone undetected. How many thousands has S.B. gained from less observational customers?
