    My daughter's dryer broke down, and I called someone to come fix it. My daughter had to work, so I drove from Washington to Greenville to wait for the repair man that text me 45 mins before the appointment time to say he couldn't make it. I called True Appliance and Ali was able to come out the same day. Not only was he on time, but he was a little bit early and he fixed the problem in no time. He is very professional and knowledgeable and his prices are very reasonable. I am extremely pleased with his service, and highly recommend him. Service: Dryer repair

    I was so happy when I found this company and spoke to Ali about installing a new microwave, repairing my dryer and fixing my ice maker. He assured me he had experience with all three especially with removing and installing microwaves which was my main reason for contacting this company. When he arrived he was ~10 minutes late but Im that wasnt a big deal to me. He was very professional and quickly diagnosed my dryer issue and repaired it. He then diagnosed my ice maker issue as the motor in the ice maker went out and I needed a new ice maker installed. He also gave me another more economical option of purchasing a countertop ice maker. I chose to have a new ice maker installed so we set up that appt. He then removed my old microwave and installed the new one. When he was done he explained he had to use the new brackets due to the old mounting brackets didnt have the screw holes in the same place as the new microwave did. At first glance all looked great and I paid him and looked forward to the appt to have my ice maker replaced. I told my family I had found the most awesome appliance company and spoke very highly of him. Well I ended up discovering several issues once I began using the microwave and I immediately contacted him about them I first noticed air blowing out of the top where the microwave meets with the cabinet when I turned it on. Which led me to investigate further and I found: The top of the microwave was not sitting flush with the bottom of the cabinet. Which was why I felt the air blowing out. Then I saw the duct in the cabinet was not even attached to the ventilation vent that goes up to the roof. Then as I looked around some more I found the ventilation vent that sits on top of the microwave was not even attached to the microwave and it easily came completely out! So I looked in the instruction book and saw there was a metal plate he was supposed to have removed from the top back of the microwave so he could attach the flange like attachment that allowed the air to vent through the ventilation vent, up through the duct and out the vent on the roof. That part did come with the microwave but had been left in the box by Ali and was assumed to not be needed so it ended up getting thrown away with the box!! I also noticed the microwave was not sitting on the brackets correctly. The back dips down lower than the front and appears not to be fully seated on the brackets. The brackets were also installed unevenly on each side which was causing one side, the right, to be lower that the other side. The filters that go on the bottom over the stove also keep falling out... When I contacted him about these issue he responded by saying he apologized for any inconvenience and refunded the $120 he charged. Although I did not really want nor expect thatI needed my microwave fixed! When I asked him if he would fix these things when he came to the ice maker appt we had scheduled for 10/19 he did not respond. I asked again if he would prefer I get someone else to fix it and he still did not respond. Well later in the afternoon I received an email saying our 10/19 appt for my ice maker replacement had been canceled with no explanation as to why! Absolutely UNBELIEVABLE! He could have just said he didnt know what he was doing, apologized and told me to get someone else. Instead of the unprofessional way he chose to address it by cancelling the appt and not even speaking with me about it. Needless to say True Appliance Repair is now deleted from my contact list! Bewarenot a way to conduct business at all. Services: Dryer repair, Household appliance installation, Microwave repair
