Jackson Hewitt Tax Service

This year was my first year using Jackson Hewitt for my taxes. I made an appointment in person and brought in my documents, but I like all of the options for how I could get my taxes done. The scheduling was super easy, and the communication all the way through the process was excellent. I liked being there in person as my taxes were done; it reassured me that everything was accurate, and my questions were answered. I will definitely use J. H. again and recommend them to others.

I went to this location to file my taxes. I sat and waited to be greeted for 10 minutes, even though a woman in her office looked right at me and even walked near the front desk and didn't speak to me. I assumed she was with another customer, but later found out this wasn't the case. I was working with a gentleman (he was the only professional in the location) and showed him the email I received offering 50% off tax filling services without an expiration date. He told me the manager said they couldn't take it, even though there was no expiration date. Then the woman that didn't greet me came into his office and asked "What can I help you with"?. I asked her if she (Jewel) was the manager and she responded "yes", and I explained to her the email and no expiration date and asked her to honor it. Then the gentleman said another manager would call me (I believe he said her name was Amanda). About 10 minutes later Amanda called me and was again, same as Jewel, very unprofessional. Never once was there an apology or an offer for any type of discount. This is not how you treat customers, what kind of "manager" doesn't greet a customer? In addition when there is an issue, explain and try to resolve the issues. Don't waste your time or money at this location!
