My father was here for a while and he will be coming home soon. Me and my family are very thankful especially my mother we was very impressed how great they took care of him. Great food and smelling good facility. Im a Rcc at a facility so I knew what to be looking for. I had no major concerns. Good recommendation for people to put there love ones in.

Blumenthal is a beautiful facility. Janie is very knowledgeable and helped me tremendously. The admissions process is smooth and I could not be happier.

I would not recommend Blumenthal Nursing and Rehabilitation in Greensboro NC to anyone. The administrative staff is inept, unprofessional and refuses to communicate. They do not return phone calls. There were times I visited the facility to be told by the duty nurse that she was only nurse on duty for the entire facility (130+ beds). My father had multiple personal items stolen. Any reports of these were ignored. He was not bathed on a regular basis and often wore the same clothing for many days in a row. They refused to contact me when he was sent to the hospital, which happened many times during his residency there. (I think his physically not being there affected the amount they could bill, so they did not report absences the majority of the time.) As one example, he was sent to the hospital on a Friday afternoon. I did not find out until the following Monday when the hospital contacted me. I went to his room Monday evening to retrieve his cell phone to find the TV blaring, the room not clean, and his dinner from the previous Friday night still on the table. Trying to get them to provide the necessary paperwork to transfer him to another facility took threats that a family member would sit in the lobby and wait no matter how long it took before the paperwork was finally made available to the other facility. Repeated requests from the other facility were ignored. The final month he was there, they made an unauthorized electronic transaction to his bank for his monthly payment. They then also deposited the check that was sent to them for the monthly payment. This caused an NSF charge from his bank, which they have not reimbursed. Since his death, the have refused to speak with me. I asked in person the day I collected his belongings. The receptionist relayed the messaged that the administration said, you are good, no need to speak to anyone. I have left phone calls and mailed a letter to the administrator, Tony Wilson. I have not received a response. My actual rating is zero stars.
