ALCOLOCK Ignition Interlock

I never have to wait long at all always had a pleasant experience every time!

There are 3 OTHER approved ignition interlock companies in North Carolina. PLEASE USE THEM!!!! NOT THIS ONE Terrible experience. My brother had the system for a year last year and used the Greensboro location, after having to buy and replace his battery 3 times they finally changed his system out and it worked without draining his battery. Now Im having that problem ant the Wilmington NC location and when I brought it up at the store they said oh that just happens. Umm no. The battery is over $200 for my car. I cant afford to keep replacing it. The warranty on the battery is voided because of the system. And no one is any help at all. Ive left 3 voicemails for Andy the NC Admin for alcolock and havent heard back. Please go somewhere else!

It is a hit or miss. They are closed on holidays but Google says they are open. It sucks because the machine does fail a lot because I know. They fail you even when you haven't drank at all nor ate anything. Very complicated. But I guess it's my fault why have have to use this service anyways.

***STAY AWAY*** They will leave there own 5 star reviews after this to make mine go away, but this is real. In my opinion, 100% SCAM. Stay away. For someone who DOES NOT DRINK AT ALL, its super frustrating when about once a month it locks you out for no real reason. Was on a long drive, go thru drive thru of FF, get a burger, next test FAIL. (Yes, i did have a water bottle to rinse my mouth). In 2023, its crazy to think there isnt the technology to actualllllllly detect alcohol. Cant have certain foods? Coffee? (I dont drink that either) energy drinks????? It just sets you up for failure, and to take your money. $50ish each time. Now i sit here writing this instead of driving to work. I had no breakfast yet this morning, I keep a toothbrush at the office just in case of this , i have a water bottle to rinse my mouth, as recommended per ALCOLOCK, and I got locked out for 45min. It makes ZERO sense. Trash product.
