Cone Health MedCenter Greensboro at Drawbridge Parkway

I had a horrific experience at Cone health on 03/30 with Physician Assistant Madison Redwine and MD Chase Countryman. Despite the exceptional care from nurse Peter T and Willam M, the PA and MD were abysmal, dismissive, and arrogant. During the procedure to relocate my dislocated toe, the PA repeatedly administered lidocaine, but I still felt excruciating pain (9/10). When I expressed my discomfort, the PA rushed me and the MD used fear tactics, saying I had to do it then or risk never walking normally again. This was unprofessional, inhumane, and made me feel like I was being coerced. I was in a vulnerable state, and their behavior was unacceptable. To make matters worse, the PA lied about giving me verbal instructions about the procedure, claiming I was aware of the risks and potential need for multiple attempts. However, I was only informed about infection risks and the possibility of additional lidocaine doses, not the multiple attempts at relocation itself. Both healthcare providers showed no empathy or compassion, leaving me feeling traumatized, distressed, and violated. I strongly advise against visiting this facility and recommend seeking a second opinion from a different healthcare provider. Remember to advocate for yourself, demand proper care and respect.

Broke my wrist at a kickball game and the 2 young ladies Cameron and faith were absolutely amazing. That took time with the cast and explained each step to help me understand what was next. Keep up the great work

I truly believe with everything in me this place was built to over charge patients insurance. Its so sad because we TRUST these people with our lives. The Hippocratic oath says I will enter to help the sick, and I will abstain from all intentional wrong-doing and harm, especially from abusing the bodies of man or woman. 1st time I visited the service was stellar. It has changed immensely! I came in around 8am with sharp shooting pains in my head and had to leave on my own around 2pm with the same pain in my head. I was stuck in a room for almost 6 hours and all they did was a CT scan and draw blood. The nurse and Dr who I was assigned to had the worst bedside manner ever. While I was telling the Dr how much pain I was in she WALKED OUT because she got a PHONE CALL!!! While I was telling her about my pain levels?? I couldnt believe it!! The nurse was worse. I would ask her a question about my care and it was like pulling teeth. As if she didnt want to tell me. She was about to inject me with fentanyl. Fentanyl!!??? Are u kidding me? Thats poison. I ended up calling the ER admin on my cell from my room but that didnt help any either. She came in and told me the same lies told to me by other staff. I truly believe their goal was to give the worst care they could give. I ended up going to see my primary care Dr. which is what I shouldve done in the 1st place. Overall this place deserves ZERO stars. The service is awful. If youre in pain and if youre able drive out of Guilford county, do that. Go to Duke if you can. This place is awful. I can hardly wait to see the bill for such subpar service and no help at all.
