I took my mother here to get a loan. The person assisting us named "Austin" seemed fairly new which wasn't an issue but mistakes were being made. I'm glad he was asking his manager questions but he should have been supervised or guided better before processing a loan himself. My mothers name was incorrect on the paperwork and when she asked about it, once he asked his manager, his manager seemed frustrated and said "it's fine but be more careful next time" it was my mothers maiden name on the form, no new forms were printed and they continued to process her loan with her maiden name as her initial. Then as we were finished and he handed my mother her paperwork and we stood up, he then asked her for it back because he forget to allow his manager to approve it. After that, we was able to leave and went to the bank with the check. The clerk notified us that the check was invalid because no one from Republic Finance signed the check. So we had to drive 15 minutes back to the place. Once my mother told them the situation the guy who helped us had joked about it. I understand he's new but there were a lot of mistakes made on important loan documents and if we would have went back home 30 minutes instead of driving straight to the bank we would have wasted a trip because of these errors. I'm hoping they can train this person better and supervise him in future loan processes.
