What a wonderful review Andra!! Thank you so much and for all 5 stars!

We have 7 employees and 5 are african american including the manager who has worked here for now 8 years. He has a masters of nutrition and could lecture on thousands of herbs and supplements. Hes one of the most knowledgeable persons working in the health food industry in the state of NC and known far and wide by the representatives of the companys that supply us. The majority of our customers are african american. Weve been here 63 years and we just had our best year ever in 2023 thanks largely to the loyal support we have from the african american community. I do acknowledge that I am white but your accusation against me personally and the wonderful employees we have and quite frankly the 1000s and 1000s of african american customers who have shopped with us for generations now as somehow "racist" because they like the nature of our store and the attention we pay our customers makes no sense. How would I even respond to that? Ive addressed the nature of our store in the past and I will again. We are a small busy store often staffed with 4-5 employees. It is literally IMPOSSIBLE to shop our store and not have multiple interactions with us offering help or simply good old conversation in our upbeat friendly interactive environment. If the atmosphere doesnt suit you then perhaps you should just shop someplace else instead of accusing our wonderful people of what you suggested.
