CVS Photo

Went to get passport photo done. Lighting sucks, it's one side, no flash on the camera they use. The employee didn't tell me when she was taking the photo. That coupled with bad lighting, made my photo look like I was having a stroke. The employee wouldn't let me see the photo before they printed it. Then made an ordeal when I was requesting a refund. I attempted to use the print your own picture option. Went home took a photo, came back with sd card. It wouldn't read it, turns out there system can't read RAW image, the employees didn't know that, it's just what I've found out through this whole process. So I had to go back home turn the image into a jpeg. Go back to the photo counter. Uploaded my image, pressed the option for passport, which defaults two 2"x2"s. In the end it only printed one photo. Turns out you have to upload the same image twice, even though the software should just be printing the same image, because that's how passport photos work. Not to mention the software never gave me an option to choose more than one image. Basically turned a 5 minute in and out task to 5 hours of back and forth. CVS get better lighting/use a flash if you're taking photos of people. And let people see their photo before it's printed. Update your software to print the same image twice on the passport setting.

I made my photo into a canvas and it is beautiful! I had trouble getting the color right but they were more than happy to help me with the settings until it was just perfect!
