Jackie is amazing, we love her and has already become like family. But we have already had 3 call outs on a matter of 1 week and 3 days. We were granted 36 hours a week in at home nursing care bc I physically cant take care of nana on my own. Management has tried really hard to fill those hours of people that have called out. Management really cares but it seems they will hire anyone and dont hold their employees to high standard. We have also had issues with nursing not being trained on a gait belt. We also had one nurse that I had to basically do their job. Then as she was transferring from the bedside toilet to her bed the nurse just walked off to dump water and left me to handle her alone. Shes over 200lbs I cannot handle her on my own. She started falling while the nurse was dumping out bed bath water. I had no choice but to try to push her into bed bc I couldnt hold her up. I also had a nurse that didnt know how to do a bed bath. I hope this improves with time. But at this time I'm worried I wont be able to handle all of this with them consistently calling out on weekends.
