I think this facility started off nice. However, with the hiring of new employees and shifting staff around, they lost their personal touch. To have a 15 month old bitten on a thumb and index finger, and not be reported to parents until they arrive is not acceptable. No meeting set up to talk with parents. Instead being told, kids bite, really. Parents told there is no policy in place for children that bite, really. And this is five star??? To show no empathy to Parents is not acceptable. Act like you care even if you don't. Child skin broken and bleeding, I'm just saying, again unacceptable. This is not representative of a five star daycare. Know who is providing care for your children.

My daughter attended daycare as a 3 year old & went on to complete Pre-K with Miss Becca & Miss Chelsea back in 2017. To this day I am so glad I sent her to Smart Kids. My daughter is currently in 5th grade with reading & comprehension scores at 9th grade level. She learned how to read really fast in Kindergarten thanks to Miss Becca & Miss Chelsea, teaching her everything she needed to know to succeed in kindergarten. I am forever thankful for those amazing teachers. For making an educational impact on my daughter. Thank you!

Please think twice about enrolling your children in this daycare or trying to get hired on here. This center WAS a 5 star center but the past couple months its gone way downhill. When Becca was the director, she got this center up to a 5 star center! I noticed she worked hard to improve everything about this childcare center. When they got a new director, everything went downhill and there is no protection for the children or the teachers. First of all they have stopped recording in the classrooms. I dont know about yall, but I dont want any of my babies attending a daycare where if an incident happened, I could be lied to or it could be covered up! I wouldnt want to be an employee of a center with young children who do not have great communication skills due to age and not having a camera. False allegations could and WILL be brought on you just for the new director Janet, to fire you just because. Several amazing teachers who have been there awhile who have NEVER had a single write up are now being accused of things, interrogated, then fired for untrue accusations and these teachers can not protect themselves because the cameras stopped recording This new director is rude and unprofessional. Every accusation about these amazing teachers who are suspended and fired could be proved false if only they were still recording like they used to!
This new director seems to pick and choose who she likes and doesnt like, when she hasnt even been there long enough to get to know these teachers. This woman has no clue how to be a director and I dont think its coincidence that teachers who have never even had a write up are all of a sudden having extreme and false accusations against them. Sadly the teachers who are still there are afraid to speak up for their co workers in fear of their job and theres messages from teachers who work there to prove this. This director has been noted to find her next victim by interrogating other teachers and when they say they have never seen the teacher thats been accused do anything wrong, they are the next ones to have false allegations brought on them. She also preys on those who have a close relationship with the former director. What they are doing to wonderful teachers, slandering, and ruining the reputation is absolutely sickening. I cant for all these falsely accused teachers to ban together, get an attorney, clear their names, sue for slander and wrongful termination, and at the very least have this new director gone and mandatory recordings put back in all classrooms to protect not only the students but the teachers and staff. So many parents have unenrolled their children from here since this new director came in! They were the smart ones. So please NEVER work here or enroll your child here.

My daughter has been at Smart Kids for a month and we love it so far! The facility is clean, the teachers are all so nice and speak kindly to the kids, and I feel like my daughter is loved on. They are communicative through out the day updating us on how our daughter is doing. The director, Ms. Rebecca, is wonderful, knows all the kids by name, and is very friendly. We are thankful for smart kids! We had the opportunity to switch to a facility that was closer to home and less expensive but chose to stay with Smart Kids because of how they love our daughter. I think that says a lot!

I have never had a child in this facility, BUT I did call to inquire and the lady who answers the phone is very rude and has a BLATANT attitude. I could not imagine interacting with her daily as I dropped off my child and picked him up. So my review is on customer service as someone who was interested in enrolling my son. I will not be adding myself to the waiting list just based off of this phone conversation.
