I took my truck here when it started shaving transmission problems. They charged me $6,400 to put in a new trans and change an oil cooler gasket. I had to bring it back a couple times for exhaust leaks and that pink cooler just didnt want to seal but they were amazing through the entire process. Conrad, Donna and the mechanics all were very nice and professional. They got my truck running in tip top shape right now.

My 2015 Silverado 1500 needed the transmission replaced at around 145k (typical Chevy). Conrad was able to have a fully warrantied reman transmission in stock, and my truck in the shop within a week. Andrew did an excellent job changing out the transmission and inspecting my cooler for any signs of metal shavings as well as performing a hot flush. If, and when, your Chevy has transmission issues I can safely recommend this shop, and the 100k mile warranty is excellent peace of mind.

Beware. Transmission replacement & transfer case (shortly after transmission replacement). Please note: Everything mentioned below is AFTER Aamco performed work, not before. The prior was simply, hey you lost 2nd and 3rd gear, you need a rebuild or replacement, then the rest below follows. NEVER any issues with 4WD or the transfer case AT ALL in 8 years of regularly using it. Most recently, after about the 3rd attempt to get the truck fixed for the same issue, I asked that the GM get involved. I told him it needed some different attention and I couldn't keep coming up there. He said he would get involved. Apparently the owner was brought in, along with a SC owner but still had the same issue. They will stand behind it, but beware, it could take 6-7 times before you get it fixed, and the GM will tell you whatever you want to hear. They won't supplement another vehicle, won't give you back any money, none of it. Their time is worth money, but your time is not. Early on, the quality aspect was brought to attention from another mechanic replacing the rear seal (see photos). After that Aamco ended up replacing the brand new torque converter, and fixing the transmission plug, as well as a stainless steel bolt that looked like it came off of the home depot shelf that didn't even have a locking head (it was on top of the transmission-never would have known), thanks to a different mechanic. The transmission builders reply was "that doesn't look like something I would install" to insinuate someone else did it on a fresh rebuild. All together I have brought the truck back 6-7 times. They were also unable to properly diagnose my truck with a tune in place, and had to factory wipe out the tune so if you don't have a stock truck you need to stay away from this place. I was assured before any work was done, there was no issue with a truck with a tune, but since they couldn't recreate the scenario, the only thing they knew to do was reprogram the transmission back to factory. ($500 tune gone, now stuck with check engine lights since the O2 sensors are now in play). Wiring harness for the fuel sending unit wasn't secured properly, which ultimately got tangled around the driveshaft. They fixed it, but didn't put the boot back around the yoke entrance of the driveshaft. When I mentioned it, it was just shrugged off, oh lots of vehicles don't have it. I conceded on almost everything, because I could not continuously keep bringing my truck to their shop for days or weeks at a time. It was honestly just problem after problem and with the quality and the know how, and I completely lost faith once I got the GM involved and still had issues, so I asked who his boss was (the owner), and he refused to give me their contact information, so I was stuck with the guy who will tell you whatever you want to hear. Like I mentioned, they won't give you a loner, so if you like missing work, or figuring out how you will get your kids to school, this is the place for you. Coming from the eye of the consumer, this process has been an absolute nightmare from the beginning and I have never felt more like 1 tiny small drop in a huge bucket. One comes in and out, then on to the next one vs do it once, do it right. One positive thing I will say, is that the face of the company, Conrad, is very friendly and seems to be the best thing they have going, but you don't go to a transmission shop to make friends.
