Terrible customer service. The most obnoxious people.

Apparently Rent A Center is ok with their employees communicating threats. I called the store to speak with manager and was threatened. Called customer service and the agent agreed with the manager at the store. Asked to speak with his supervisor and then he said hed have to put in a ticket. Would not transfer me to a supervisor. I cant believe a business is ran like this. So unprofessional, and rude. They can talk any way they want and also no resolution was reached. Im definitely taking my business else where. If you know better do not rent from this company or the Fuquay Varina location in North Carolina and Ill be in touch with a lawyer as well!

I called this store today to verify if there is debt on my husbands account to ensure theres nothing that could go to collections and effect the upcoming purchase of our new home and the store representative advised that he had red flagged the account to never rent again because we had our friends leave bad reviews. After lies of an attorney and defamation, he then continued the lie to say I personally used my business to write faulty 1-star reviews. Upon checking, Ive never even been on the Google page and hadnt even written about what a terrible experience we had with them from the beginning and MOST CERTAINLY didnt do so from anything concerning my business. Its clear this store is making an attempt to retaliate with their false claims because they didnt like that my husband wasnt going to just lie down and allow them to harass him for their mistakes. I wouldnt involve myself with these people Id you didnt absolutely have to! Its clear this franchisee runs his business very differently than the corporate expectations.
