I had very good customer service. The young man that came to service my washer. He found out what was wrong with my washer in about 5 minutes. I had a previous very good experience with Affordable Appliance. Doug had come out and replaced a heating element and I was very impressed with his skills and style. Last week, I had an issue with lint backed up and some hindrance of the ability to spin the drum. I called Affordable Appliance and they called me back and scheduled Jose. Jose came on time as expected a day later. He was pleasant and knowledgeable. He cleaned away more lint than I had found, replaced a roller and seemingly did a good job and was good to deal with. Unfortunately, on Friday when I did laundry, I found the lint screen difficult to remove and difficult to put back in place. I called Affordable Appliance at 9:30 in the morning and requested service. I did not hear back from them and made several more attempts on Friday with no returned calls. Today, I removed the back of the dryer and properly aligned the 2 and a half or 3 foot panel that the lint screen rides in and that covers the blower fan and air vent. I can understand Jose having a minor misalignment of the vent component. But, having paid a repair bill that was about 1/3 cost of a new dryer, I would have expected a call back to coordinate properly completing the job. Service: Washer/dryer repair
