We really exited our stay in Flat Rock. Scott and his team were very friendly which is a breath of fresh air considering so many people are not friendly anymore. They have a list of local restaurants they recommend and were quick to offer activities that the kids would enjoy. Also, a very convenient locationgas stations, restaurants and Starbucks right around the corner. The kids loved the pool, it was clean and the area around it was always tidy. The fire pit and outdoor space was gorgeous and a nice spot to hang out. Our room was good as well. Everything worked well, housekeeping came in daily and made the beds (also something I find other places do less and less), refreshed towels, etc. My only complaintour room had a lot of screw holes in the ceiling. It didnt effect our stay but it wasnt the nicest looking ceiling Ive seen. Overall good experience. I would stay here again!

This experience was spectacular. Scott and his family go above and beyond to make this a warm and inviting stay. It is locally owned and operated. The staff do an amazing job of making you feel welcome. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Restrooms are spotless. Beds and matresses are very subjective but my wife and I slept very well. Morning breakfast is hot and has a nice selection. Cheese omlets, biscuits, gravy, fruit, cereal, etc. The back lawn is impressive. It feels secluded, well maintained and relaxing. We really loved the waterfall with the gold fish. Ask Scott about where the fish came from. Indoor heated pool was clean. We didn't swim in it but it was a nice addition. This is one of the best experiences we have stayed at. We highly recommend it and we will definitely be back.
