Central Carolina Doulas, Certified Birth & Postpartum Support and Childbirth Classes

I gave birth early October 2023 and used Central Carolina Doulas. My doulas were both Taylor and Cassidy. Whom were both super lovely people to work with. They would always check up on me during my pregnancy and were always available if I just wanted to talk or text. They both were especially amazing when I was in a week of prodromal labor. Their encouragement really helped me during that difficult time. Cassidy was on duty the day I went into active labor and my water broke. I was meant to have a home birth and unexpected events happened and I ended up needing to go to the hospital later that night. She was a real huge help and amazing support person to have both while laboring at home and then having to give birth in the hospital and made me feel more at ease despite the change in plans. Aida (the owner) was also amazing. She helped accommodate me when it came to scheduling a birth class during hours that worked best for me and my schedule. She also constantly checked up on me throughout my journey and even after. Truly, this is a great team and I would definitely use them again in the future.

Taylor and Cassidy were AMAZING! The whole process with Central Carolina Doulas was so reassuring and easy. Aida paired us with doulas that worked well with my husband and I, and they made sure all 4 of us were on the same page with goals, wants, and needs for my pregnancy and delivery. I loved that you get a 2-person team, rather than just one doula so that just in case anything happens you always have someone on call. We also really appreciated that my husband was included in the process - he so wanted to know how to help and what to do and they were more than willing to work with him on comfort techniques. Taylor and Cassidy both were quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had both before and after delivery and take the time to figure out who you actually are (so its not like a stranger is showing up in L&D) and theyd created a detailed, easy to follow birth plan so once we showed up to L&D it was a smoother, calmer process than I possibly could have imagined. Absolutely recommend!

I had a great experience with Taylor and Cassidy. They eased my mind tremendously and allowed for me to be as relaxed as possible. Taylor was with me during labor and kept me moving and stretching to make delivery easier! Im 8 weeks PP and they still check in!

I had my first baby back in September, and it was unfortunately a pretty traumatic experience in some ways, and a huge blessing in other ways. One of those blessings was to have Da'Raille by my side throughout the experience. From pregnancy, to labor, to early postpartum, both Da'Raille and the owner, Aida, reached out to me with support and resources. Their kindness and compassion for mothers is truly unmatched, and you can tell they both have a great passion for what they do! I'm so grateful for my experience with Da'Raille, and I will absolutely reach out again in the future when I need I their support.

I highly recommend Central Carolina Doulas for anyone interested in using a doula service as well as support classes (we took a newborn class in addition to our doula). Aida, the owner and Daraille, our doula were just incredible to work with. Both my husbands and my wants were at the forefront. I just wanted to have a great experience before during and after birth and I believe that with the help of CCD I was able to have that. I felt empowered, supported and confident. Daraille really made such a difference in helping me and my husband to feel like we could make it through the process and cheer us on. I felt supported physically mentally and emotionally. We are so happy with our decision to have shared our experience with such a great team!
