Taylor Made Painting

Needed a door stained and interior trim painted. Keith Taylor was recommended by the door contractor which is why I initially was interested in him. I was patient due to the fact there was a death in their family. I played phone tag for about a month seeing when we could possibly get the door stained. After one call it was agreed he would come out on a Saturday to look at the door. Nobody ever came. Took another week of phone tag to talk to his wife who said they didn’t recall saying they would come out Saturday... I guess I made that up and just wrote it on my calendar. Finally his wife said she would come out to see the work needed. She came out and took some photos and said they would be in contact. I mentioned i would be going on vacation and wouldn’t be back till a certain date. After that date i called again and asked if we could get the door stained. Another date was set only to be told that due to possible rain coming in they wouldn’t want to start it. At that point i asked because we hadn’t mentioned it before of “what is this going to cost by the way?”. She said she didn’t know... keep in mind she came out to my house and saw the door in person... She told me she would call back with what it would cost. After about an hour she called and said i was looking at $800-1000 to stain the door and paint the trim inside. I laughed and thanked her but i would be finding someone else if that’s what they think i would pay to stain a door. I called up Garner painting and they started the next day for a lot less than what Taylor made painting wanted. In the end i would not recommend Taylor made. They seem to think that customers are a dime a dozen here in Fayetteville and born yesterday with their pricing. the door was installed October of 2018 and in December was when they finally told me what the cost would be. I could have easily and should have went with someone else to get the door stained. It would have saved me numerous phone calls and wasted time.

Very nice work! Staff was friendly and professional and very detail oriented. No cutting corners. Great work !!
