Angela started off as a good doula. She was helpful during my birth. However, she provided horrible lactation and postpartum support. I have reached out to her twice after my birth with lactation questions and general concerns and both times I was ignored. Not sure what went wrong but she provided absolutely no communication. Angela spent an extensive time going over my postpartum plan while pregnant so I was utterly shocked by the lack of support I received. As a second time mom who experienced a traumatic birth experience with my first, breastfeeding was so important to me. Angela knew I was moving to a new state a couple of weeks after birth and promised to get me connected to other people in the area, she failed to do that. Overall I am extremely disappointed with the support I received from her. If I didnt reach out to my best friend and other consultantsI would have gave up on breastfeeding altogether Response to business owner: Yes you were paid for a certain amount of visits. We still had one more visit that YOU cancelled last minute because YOU had a scheduling conflict. Not to mention you showed up to every appointment late. Its quite sad that you are making excuses for your un professionalism and lack of compassion. I knew more about your life than you knew of mine because you have a very weird habit of constantly speaking about yourself. You should take this criticism and allow it to make you better. Because I am not the only woman that has had a negative experience with you. Not to mention you stated I follow my clients at least a year after birth lol well that was a lie. Blessings to you Angela ! Do right by the vulnerable women you claim to care so much about.

Not to mention she deleted me from her support group and blocked me on fb. And to this day I still don't know what I did wrong. Not to mention she was late to every meeting and spoke about herself the entire time.

The lactation information given at my appointment was excellent. I received hands on help with my baby and information through email to come back to if needed. The communication is extremely lacking. Plans would be made to meet up and she would not be there after stating come anytime.Messages go unanswered for hours and then by the time you get an answer the day is gone and things arent done that we discussed. I wont go into personal detail but she just stopped havent heard from her in almost four days. I am now in search of a different lactation specialist in the area. One that will communicate with me and if it is an issue Ill have an alternative way to get in touch. - Editing since I cannot add to the reviews after the response I got. Please dont insult and talk about the fact that people are good with services that are free because its not the case with me and payment isnt an issue. And good for you guys that youve only had two bad reviews. There was no apology to me for wasting my time at all and its not easy moving around with a newborn. Lets focus on just making appointments to follow up instead of saying random things you know that you wont follow through with. I think its bad business to get on here and try to throw shade professionally but I caught that. Good day
