Expert Jewelry Repair

Had two rings resized to the size the jeweler recommended. They fit a little loose on my girlfriend but figured maybe it was just a fluke. After a few days of it still falling off, I contacted them and they told me they would take care of me. Came in and was told I would pay the full price again to have them resized. It is not my fault the size you stated was the correct size, actually wasnt. Or the ring was not sized down properly. Either way not paying full price twice to get a job done that shouldve been done right the first time.

On Nov 18, 2023 I paid for this jewelry repair person for resizing of two rings, repair of clasps on a bracelet and necklace. At this time I was asked if the necklace was yellow gold or rose gold. I had received the necklace as a gift several years ago, so I didn't recall whether it was yellow or rose. The jewelry repair person stated he couldn't hardly tell and I allowed a yellow gold clasp to be placed on the necklace. Later when I arrived home and saw the necklace in the daylight I could tell it was actually rose gold and not yellow gold. I was so glad to have my jewelry in wearable condition that I decided to let the wrong color clasp on the necklace not become an issue. Sometime in January the clasp became weak again in that it didn't remain closed and I almost lost my necklace. I went back to the jewelry shop and told the repair person about my problem. He didn't remember me and asked if I had a receipt. Unfortunately I didn't think I needed to keep the receipt. The jewelry repair person suggested that if I paid by credit card I could bring him a copy of the statement and he would be happy to help me. I left the business thinking the repair person was going to make good on the repair that didn't last. I came back into the store near the end of January with my copy of the credit card statement, again the repair person acted as if he didn't remember me. I was told I had exceeded the time limit, I can't remember now if he guaranteed his work for 30 days or 60 days, either way when I initially came back with the necklace clasp in the same condition, the repair person could have told me then he didn't intend on repairing the clasp. I told him I had come in with jewelry to be repaired before Christmas. This is the same jewelry repair shop that used to be located in the center of the mall. I always got my watch batteries from him as he offered lifetime battery replacement. At first I was very elated over having my jewelry repaired and able to wear it all, now I'm trying to first find a rose gold lobster clasp from a reputable company and then try to find a jewelry repair person who will do quality work and stand behind the repair. By the way I don't sleep in my jewelry, so I've done nothing to add to the quick demise of the repair job performed at 419 Cross Creek Mall, Fayetteville NC for this reason I will only give 2 stars.

Having a shop of this type in the mall is very convenient! It seems they also do custom metal work and have a variety of items they sell other than jewelry. I was there to have a few links removed from the watch bands of some Invicta watches. It seems there are only a handful of shops willing to do that kind of work and I was very pleased with the outcomes we got. They did great work! No scratches or other issues. They also offer a lifetime battery replacement warranty for any watch batteries they replace/install. This costs $25 but when they say 'lifetime', they mean it. As long as you bring in the warranty card you'll be given after a battery installation, that battery will be replaced for free for as long as you own that watch! We got that deal, too. I hope we won't have to use it for a while, but if we do we know we're covered. Swing by and check them out when you're in the mall, again. They have some unique custom stuff in there.
