Modern Rent to Own

Never been here, never will. You can tell a decent amount by the people that are hired, especially delivery drivers. The box truck was close enough to take my bumper off, on a wet road, with no one behind me which wouldve given ample time to safely turn out onto Reilly Road. The reckless driving behavior is highly unappreciated and will most likely happen again.

The bedroom set started at $9.99 per week then kept going up until it was $128 a month. Delivery of items was okay. Payment due on the first. A friend was suppose to pay it I have agoraphobia and it is rare that I can make it out of my home already. After hearing the guy from the business banging and banging and banging on my door, he not only sent me into a severe panic attack but I end up cutting ( that is part of my illness) He was aware that I suffer from PTSD from severely abusive relationships. I literally had no clue that the guy ( who he knows) didn't make the payment , I had another friend call to say either I would or he would would be in to make the payment in 4 days and a woman at the business said she didn't believe him and had to hear me say it. I had already messaged them through their site. My phone is not working at this time, I live alone and have no way to call her immediately. Not only did he beat and beat on my door, he parked and watched my apartment for a very long time which pretty much is stalking the customer. It took me over an hour to get my anxiety under control and calm my emotional support cats down. This is not professional at all!! Parking and watching someone's home is very scary. I would not recommend renting from this company. The furniture is very cheaply made to pay such a high price for it.. the frame is metal not wood and squeaks a rattles Everytime you roll which keeps me awake. I could have dealt with the bed frame issue but having him beat on my door like he did that sent me into a severe panic attack and then watching my home is sick! Very unprofessional! To remind you, I couldn't call them, my phone doesn't work. I use a computer until my new government phone comes in. Today on my son's birthday sucked badly. Worse day in a long time . Update..they came to pick items up and literally left my furniture pushed in other rooms scattered. Me being weak I called out his name (Troy) several times with no response. . He was in too much of a rush to put stuff back . He said another guy, gave no name was the one beating on the door and he admitted they knew I had the PTSD and agoraphobia illness. When he left, he said "good luck with a lawsuit" He admitted he called Me.Wesley as stated but not my daughter about me in here scared.

Andrea' & Troy are amazing people and they are honest and hard working i have been doing business with modern furniture for 9 years I bought my first wqsher and dryer from burt on Bragg Blvd always pleasant people

Awesome place for rental items and prices are hard to beat. Customer service is best over all other rent to own places.
