Best Day Psychiatry and Counseling PC Fayetteville

Absolutely horrible experience. Unfortunately the nice lady at check in did not take my payment so I had no idea the cost would be so large. I was there to get "tested" for ADHD or so I thought. When I was done, I was only asked some questions and had to be referred out to be actually tested. As I go to checkout, I am told that I have to pay $155. For what I asked, as I was never even tested. While I understand my insurance has a deductible, my issue was that I was never told the cost upfront NOR the fact I wasn't even getting tested. The other lady at the front was very nice but she had to call over the practice administrator/manager. She came to speak to me and was so rude. She wanted to blame my primary care for having sent me to a place that did evaluations not testing. I felt completely shaken down and unable to leave until they finally agreed to only charge me part of my total for now. I guess I was hoping the final claim would be better but of course it wasn't. Again I felt shaken down. So as to the visit, I still don't even know the drs name or what her qualifications were. She quickly came in, told me her name, but told me I could call her by two initials. She was a pleasant person but I felt like she didn't even listen to what I was saying. With out warning, she started talking into her phone. When she started it again, I said "I assume this is your method of dictation." she told me it was and discovered that it hadn't worked the first time. So again she dictates about me. It was so uncomfortable NOT to mention that what she chose to dictate was such a totally insignificant fact about me. I told her as just one example of the attention issues I was having. I can't even begin to describe how frustrating it was to have to go through this experience to find out I wasn't even going to be tested for what I was referred there for.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! The absolute worst experience I've ever had dealing with a doctor's office. My child was seen there beginning of October 2023.. was given likely diagnosis and a referral to a psychologist for more testing. I allowed 6 weeks to go by before calling to ask why we haven't been contacted by a psychologist yet. Best Day staff said they had no record of a referral ever being sent! They said they'd resend it. I asked where to (so I could call the psychologist's office directly if there were further delays) and they said they don't know. How do you not know where you're sending it??? Here I am 6 months later trying to get records from them to help the pediatrician determine a treatment route and have been waiting a month just for those! Myself and my child's pediatrician's referral specialist have tried since January to get the records.. Best Day has been so difficult the referral specialist at my child's pediatrician's office gave up trying to work with them and has sent a new referral elsewhere. Now my child has to start alllll the way over in this process because there are no notes to go off for treatment. Don't waste your time!

They are all very nice and compassionate people. The customer service are incredible people and very patient. Including Presly from the Pinehurst area. She was very kind and patient. Also I'd like to memtion a few other customer service ppl I've spoken to that have also been very helpful Ebony is one of a kind and Lauren. Thank you to everyone there. 10, 000 + stars I wanted to Update my review. Because I talked to so many more incredible , helpful people- These are at both the Fayetteville AND Raleigh AND Charlotte Locations. Just so everyone is Aware. It doesn't matter which location. They are all soapmaking human beings: Brook, Tina, abbie, michelle, Jimelle and Tomeria,and Maddie. They are so understanding and caring. Its very refreshing to come across people that care. One of a kind Place and service so very happy to have found them. Hope you have the same experience.

Ive been going here since I was about 14. Now that Ive been making appointments and doing medicine refills myself for about 2 years now, I can say that it is inconvenient to have to make an appointment just to get my medicine when I sometimes dont have the money for an appointment due to not having insurance. What makes it more frustrating is that its hard to get through to make an appointment 80% of the time. Being prescribed to two medicines it also frustrates me that one prescription will get filled but one wont because I have to make an appointment. Why fill one prescription and not the other? Also there have been times when I have got 2 months worth with one prescription and only one months worth on the second prescription.

This is the one place that actually listened to my children and didn't try to just diagnose them, label them, nor put them on meds in just one visit. They really try to get to know you before any of that. Made me feel comfortable after the horrible experience with previous doctors.
