Women's Business Center of Fayetteville at CEED

Dalton (aka Hollywood) and I cannot say enough wonderful things about the staff at the Women's Business Center of Fayetteville at CEED. We recently applied for and were rewarded the Covid Retention grant. Sara Marada and the entire staff worked tirelessly to assist us through the application process and to the funding portion. This grant means SO much to us and to our business and WBC of Fayetteville at CEED means even more. They are single handedly responsible for support, launch, encouragement and empowerment of us, Hollywood Java NC and multiple other small businesses in the Cumberland County area. The entire staff at WBC is incredible! From the moment you walk in to the moment you leave the team makes you feel welcomed. They are a priceless resource to the community of small business owners to include those who seek to start a small business. Their mission to enhance NC economic development by providing services to women in small business is vital to Fayetteville continued success. I have had the opportunity to partake in the jumpstart orientation, and learn to design with Canva! Both session were filled with great information!

I love what the Women's Business Center does for local women starting out as entrepreneurs! It is great to have the support and mentorship of this group. They have encouraged me, guided me and motivated me, helping with step by step actions that are moving my business forward. I have to tell ya. These people know what they're doing! They go out of their way to help small businesses, even urban yard farmers, get the word out, revise business plans and so much more. I can not wait for future partnerships with CEED!
