Please find somebody elseanybody else. Its been a month since Mr. Charleston took my money, $300, for an incomplete, less than 30 minute consultation that he was late to and ran. I had a less than 30 minute consultation with Mr. Charleston on May 17 where he informed me and my husband that he could not tell us anything until he looked at the contracts. Cost me $300. I sent him the contracts, as he requested, that evening. Two weeks went by without hearing anything so I called and spoke with a young lady named destiny on May 31st. She said she would give him the message. After not hearing anything, I called again on June 5th and was told again by destiny that she would deliver the message. Still nothing. Frustrated, I called on June 7th requesting a refund because he never got back with us or consulted with us on the matter. He was even late to call in. Destiny told me she would send my request to accounting and that I would hear back from someone within 48 hours. Nothing. So I called on June 12th and spoke with Wendy who said that I couldnt get a refund because I had the consultation even though it was incomplete. We went back and forth and she said she would give him my message. Again nothing. I made my final call today, June 15th, and spoke with Wendy who told me that Mr. Charleston told her that he gave us our options during the consultation, which is a lie. I explained to her that he was a liar because he told us that he couldnt tell us anything until he saw the contracts. We sent them the same day he requested them. Now shes saying looking at contracts is extra time and the hes out of town. Mr. Charleston is a liar and a scammer in my opinion and I would advise anyone with legal matters to seek help elsewhere. Apparently Im not the only one hes done this to.

I scheduled a phone consultation with The Charleston Group in early December, which cost $150. The next step was for Mr. Charleston to make a decision on whether he would take the case. It's been over a month and a half and I've followed up multiple times, but still don't have an answer. After having months of time wasted, it looks like I'm going to need to start over with a different firm.
