i was a patient at Pruitts a couple of months ago. [ did not recieve physical therepy for nearly 4 days. i was sent there for physical therepy and wound vac. A man in physical therepy told me to walk the halls by myself, which I thought was stupid because there is no place to sit if you get weak. i did walk the hall when my husband visited me. i did alot of the therpy on my own. The management assigns too many patients to the CNAs. there is no way in the world 1 person can take care of 20 residents. i hope and pray I never end up there again. They cannot feed, change beds, bathe and do other things that are needed with that load.

The people that take care of the patients are absolutely ridiculous. They are disrespectful and doesn't want to put any work into anything. I tried to contact my mother ON EASTER and the women huffed and puffed and first said she was in bed and then when I told her I needed to say happy Easter and that it would only take a little bit of time, she said I will relay the message because she doesn't have a phone in her room and isn't allowed to use one. No, she just didn't want to put the effort into getting my mother to a phone because she needs help walking. IT'S AWFUL. If you need to speak to a loved one ESPECIALLY on a holiday you should be able to, WITHOUT any hesitation.. places like this isnt cheap so them holding access to a phone from them is absolutely crazy. This place has a 3 star rating and it shows.
