I am a Veteran Affairs patient with community care network. I had a lumpectomy for a radial scar. I have a family history with breast cancer. I did research on many doctors and this is my first time picking out out doctor immediately after meeting them. I could not have picked a better doctor for my health care and surgery. He is very well educated, personable and really cares about his patients. He went out of his way to make sure my comfort and understanding of my procedures were very clear. I feel like he gave me all the best advice and opportunities to make an educated decision. Elizabeth City is truly blessed to have him in our location! No words can describe the amount of content I had on my day of surgery, knowing he was looking after me and my best interest. His staff in office and at hospital were just as accommodating. Very pleased with my procedure, process, and the aftercare. He even went out of his way to explain to my husband before and after my surgery, what he found, how I took the procedure, what to expect. He continued that mannerism with my aftercare as well. He is not your ordinary doctor. He cares about you and your family. Always is courteous and asks for permission before doing anything at all. Never a doubt about his professionalism and expertise!

I just had emergency surgery and Dr. Liu is the very best! He explains everything very thoroughly. so you can make an informed decision on your health. He also makes sure he follows up personally with his patients and is very hands-on. I wish ALL physician/surgeons had the same caring nature and extraordinary ability that he has! thank you Dr.Liu

Dr. Liu is the best. I wish he was my family doctor. He explains everything to you. He seems to care about his patients in a personable way. Very thorough and thoughtful.
