Comfort Inn Elizabeth City near University

Was visiting from out of town. Nice comfortable place to stay, when in Elizabeth City.

Excellent room with super comfortable bed- no negative issues at all. Great breakfast. Only downside was elevator not working. Would stay again.

Dirty ,dusty room, broken lock on door ,bottom floor near check in and hallways smelled like rotten eggs. WiFi kept going in and out.Went to use the bathroom in lobby while having breakfast and there was tissues on the toilet and poop stains , we stopped eating needless to say. Way over priced for quality of cleanliness . Front desk was nice but thats all I can say. Nearby activities: Was convenient location to where we needed to be

The elevator didnt work at all & we were on the second floor with a baby. The room floors were very sticky so we had to keep our shoes on at all times. The smell of the rooms are horrible (mildew smell) the breakfast was not as advertised. I wouldnt recommend staying here. I was very disappointed and the wifi was very laggy which was a very important part of my trip. Rooms: Not at all what was advertised Walkability: Close to a 7/11 Food & drinks: Vending machines Noteworthy details: Not as advertised
