If I could mark 10 stars, I would. My son and I moved to EC 2 years ago and figured I would just put him in public schools when he started kindergarten last year. I was not impressed with my tours so I panicked. I didn't know what to do but to put him in private. We are not particularly a religious family so sending him to a parochial school didn't make sense either. I did not know what to do until a friend recommended I try Grace. Just a couple weeks before the school year started, I applied and they got me in within that week to tour the school. I knew immediately this was the school for us. The vibe is warm, friendly and relaxed and not to mention the amazing learning mentality and concepts of the Montessori way. Independent learning and redirecting discipline, not punishment and shame. A huge attraction for me is that the kids don't sit at a desk and watch a blackboard or tablet all day. They have their own matt to conduct their learning projects on. I love that my son isn't excluded to socializing with just his grade. He is allowed to mingle and learn front the older kids if he wants to. Also, every single teacher and staff are the most kind and welcoming people you will come across. I know that my son is loved and safe when he walks through that door everyday. In my opinion, he is excelling in reading, math and learns other cultural traditions for example they just celebrated and honored the Chinese New Year. In K he was learning about geography and space. So cool!! If you want the best learning experience for your children, go see Jennifer or one of the other staff members. They are the bomb!
