Eden Inn

Location was okay in dinky Eden, NC. What more location could you want the motel in? lol. I got the room for 4 nights & paid $75 a night, however online its showing $66 a night. Room smelled like crack as soon as you walked in. I had someone visiting with me and we kept a low profile. Some people showed up and the person visiting me went out and stopped it and made the people leave. Cops showed up after those people left and the motel management made us leave and said no refund on the nights that I paid for. I didnt even know the people that showed up and am the one that rented the room. Lost money and did end up with a better room elsewhere, but still they stole my money after apparently charging me more than it was supposed to be in the first place according to the website.

My Son died and I booked 2 nights for his funeral there was a stain on the bed and mold on the damn wall I am furious there were roaches on the carpet which was black in some parts some man tried to sell weed to me in the parking lot the water was lukewarm please save your money

This hotel is ok for a 1 night stay. I felt uncomfortable as soon as I pulled in the parking lot. We checked in on Jan 14 2024 between 10 30 and 11 00. If it wasn't late I would've never stayed. The bathroom was decent. No tub. The furniture is so big and outdated. The chair was dirty. The room is dull and depressing. Smells bad but of course I keep air freshener and scented candles when I go to a hotel. Desk clerk was nice. I was locked out the room when I went to get me breakfast at about 8 am. Came back. Couldn't get into the lobby. It was closed. I had to wait about 30 minutes til the desk clerk came from a room to open lobby so I could get a room key. The room needed more cleaning. There is no coffee pot hair dryer iron and board phone in room. Only 1 small round bar of soap in room. This is the worst hotel or motel I ever stayed at. My bad for not reading reviews for this motel . Also online pictures are fake. That is not how my king room looks. I posted photos.

Classic no-tell motel. Had a horrible reputation as the Margree. An attempt to clean up rebrand in the 2010s didnt take. It's still a haven for junkies and vice. Roaches. Poor service. People have literally died here.

Noteworthy details: The sad part is you can't have company or any guests. Their wifi sucks and they come in your room when you are not in it being nosey.
