Little School At Duke

While we loved one of our teachers, the turn over at this school is ridiculous (our kid lost 7 teachers during her two years here). They sell themselves that they are superior for the area in childcare but have a very high teacher turnover rate and toxic culture (upper management- one of the owners literally told us during a parent meeting that they didnt need to improve on communication and the entire meeting was about parents wanting more transparency). Our child is thriving almost a year later at a different daycare (same teachers with no turnover with good transparency, communication, and safety measures). If youre a Duke employee stick with the bright horizons option. The owners have lost sight of their mission and are just in survival mode due to an unsustainable model.
