Modern Nails

I've enjoyed coming here for a while now but I feel like they are often hit and miss. Last Wednesday I went in for a basic pedi and gel color on my hands and within 2 days the gels on my nails were already lifting. Today, just 1 week later, they have started peeling away. I probably won't be back to this location because even though the service is fine, I don't like spending money to not have my nails last long. I'll be going elsewhere.

The owner is always very pleasant. The female employee in the back left corner overcharged me then it appeared that she gave herself a tip. I came to speak to the owner to request a copy of my receipt. Then I shared my experience from last night. When I told the owner, she spoke with the employee. The employee was very loud and aggressive. Even after I asked to lower her voice, she continued to be mean and rude even as she was told to walk away.The owner offered a gift certificate. I heard the employee in the back yelling "Stop lying!" I told the owner she needed to get her employee before I called the authorities. Not only will I never return but I'll share this with other friends and coworkers who I have referred to this business! It is unfortunate that the owner, who has always practiced good customer service, has such a horrible individual servicing customers there! I will still contact the necessary entities that need to be notified.

I like this place- clean neat, nice atmosphere- Sue did my nails both times. I am someone that MUST have my cuticles cut a lot. She does a great job. I only get clear polish with a regular manicure, so nothing fancy, but the cuticles are the thing, and she is good about that.

They did a really good job on my nails and the service was excellent I was in and out of there in no time
