        I don't think she understands the rules when it comes to Medicaid, and it's rules about the number of visits a person gets a year;or she doesn't care. Medicaid allows each recipient 12 hospital visit per year, so if you have a patient coming every week; eventually they are going to run out of insured visit... This means that you have to either stop going or start paying out of pocket, which would mean more money for her; especially since Medicaid only pays like a 1/3rd of the bill.. So of you have Medicad and other health issues that may need attention I'd think twice about going here. I've since started looking for another clinic for the person I referred their, before she runs out of insured clinical visits; I no longer refer people here....

      Thank you for your review. Dr. Pitts has never asked any one with any type of insurance to pay over the copay that is required ($3 for Medicaid). As long as your Medicaid or referrals Medicaid remain active, then they will only be responsible for the $3 copay that is set by the Medicaid program, not Premiere Health and Wellness Medical Center, unless this amount is increased by Medicaid.Depending on the treatment for the client, Dr. Pitts is required to assure that the medications and treatments are indeed helping to improve the life of her patients and this cannot happen if the patients do not attend appointments. This information is in the new patient paperwork and is also shared at the first appointment.
