The communication and response from the team at NC Ashiatsu Barefoot Massage When booking my course were responsive and informative. Ive traveled all the way to Costa Rica for training and relieved to find an instructor in Julie that was close to home, passionate in her work. I look forward in having more class time and learning more techniques in faschi-ashi.

Having taken CBMs intermediate class previously with another amazing CBM, I felt over all solid in my sidelying and anterior work. But there were a few things I lacked confidence in: QL and psoas. When I needed help with palpation, Julie was right there to give direction, to help me focus. (Working with a guest client who is also a massage therapist was a HUGE blessing too) She graciously shares her vast knowledge, and patiently answers questions. I learned so much from retaking this class, and have actually considered taking it a 3rd time again with Julie.

I recently took my 5th class here, and as always, it was fantastic. I have been doing barefoot massage for 8-ish years and had already taken beginner, intermediate and advanced classes, but took Fundamentals as a review and refresher, and was definitely impressed with how much more specific the strokes are now compared to when I first started. Definitely worth it and still able to learn new things to bring back to my clients. Whether youre brand new to barefoot or an experienced therapist, go here, train with Julie, and you will level up your massage

Julie takes the time to make sure you know the stroke before you do it. I really appreciated her style of teaching and her hands on approach!! Can not wait to take another class with her!!
