Gateway Building Company was out GC for the build out of our restaurant in downtown Durham - and on the second story! They did a wonderful job, great communication too! We were updated with every hiccup, change, and decision - and they took pride in their work and the final product too! I work for a local real estate development firm and we are managing small and large scale projects for our owners and tenants. Mostly commercial office but we have had some retail/restaurant construction that needs to be addressed. Gateway Building Company is my go to partner for our construction projects. Their team are experts in the local market, their pricing is always comprehensive and 9/10 there are minimal change orders on all of my jobs. This is very important when managing a large project on a critical timeline. I have worked with other GCs in the market and Gateway Building Company well surpasses others by a mile in terms of communication, coordination and overall partnership. I value the relationship we have built with the company and could not recommend the team more!

Gateway gets it done . They are currently working on a major commercial renovation project for my company & I remain incredibly impressed with their integrity, responsiveness, job quality, and helpful attitude. The entire project started off with a handshake from Jack, which in my book is as solid as gold. I wish more were like them.
