FADS Durham is an incredibly special place. The instructors are experts at the top of their field, but perhaps even more importantly, they are unfailingly warm, friendly, and welcoming. My private lessons (special shout out to Vladimir and Sasha) and the weekly Friday night practice parties are the highlights of my week. And the other students are a kind and supportive community. If youve been thinking about trying danceor just trying something newI couldnt recommend it more.

We decided to come here to choreograph our first dance at our wedding. We have no dancing experience, so we didnt really expect much. We just wanted to look somewhat put together rather than just swaying back and forth (lol). Julia was our instructor, and she was amazing! She helped us gain confidence and challenged us. We did the wedding package which was 5 lessons. We ended up with a very sweet and fun waltz which all of our wedding guests loved. It was an overall great experience for us. :)

My daughter has had a wonderful experience learning ballroom at Fred Astaire Dance Studios in Durham, NC. The instructors are accomplished dancers and teachers and the atmosphere is professional and welcoming. Through FADS she has been able to compete successfully at a range of competitions--from the local to national level. If there were a 10 star review to give, I would do it!
