Dogwood Veterinary Surgical Care

When our youngest dog tore his ACL, I called a few vets to see who we should have perform the surgery. Dr. Benitez was not associated with our regular vet, but her name came up as "the surgeon I would take my dog to" so often, that we decided to go "outside of our network" and have her perform the surgery. She communicated with us before, during, and after the procedure and showed genuine empathy and concern for Jango's full recovery. We would not hesitate to recommend her for similar surgical procedures.

We are so thankful for Dr. Benitez for the TPLO surgeries she performed on both of our dog Pennys knees last year. Shes a whole new dog, running like her puppy self and has loads of energy now, which we attribute to the wonderful personal care by Dr Benitez. Her quality of life has improved tremendously since her knees were fixed, and we are so grateful that she took such good care of her.

Dr. Benitez is truly an amazing surgeon! My dog Hallie had an ovariectomy and gastropexy performed recently - the surgery went well and her recovery has been so smooth. Dr. Benitez was great with communication throughout the entire process and has checked on Hallie several times post-op. As a veterinarian, I would recommend Dr. Benitez for any advanced surgery for my patients, knowing they would receive the best possible care.

Dr. Benitez is such and amazing and talented veterinary surgeon. My Sammy needed to have her entire ear removed, scheduling her surgery was quick and easy through our GP. She was in constant communication and answered all my millions of questions since I was worried because she was 12 and going through an extensive surgery. Sammy is a spicy kitty so I knew it was going to be hard to medicate and recovery could be difficult but the pain management was wonderful and she recovered so fast. She now is happy and healthy and has a wonderful quality of life thanks to the amazing team at Dogwood veterinary surgical care. They truly are the best! I can not thank them enough! If you need any specialty surgery done on your fur baby I wouldnt hesitate to use her!
