Dr. Kathleen Jones-Monte is not reliable, not dependable, does not care. She is not someone you can count on to advocate for your well-being and health goals.

Dr Monte Jones was on call the night I had my baby. After being in labor 17 hours and every attempt to bring him into the world naturally she gave me my options. I was always delivered every detail of what my situation was with kindness and concern by her. She sat at the end of my bed and always talked to me very caringly and not rushed. Her plate was completely full that night with at least 10 other babies born that day but even through her difficult day she was 100% there for me. I made the choice to move forward with the c section. In the OR they said I could not have had him naturally once they saw him and my at anatomy. I was a first time mom and I would not change anything with my delivery with her.

Horrible bed side manner....no empathy or informative conversation to her patients. Id rather have this baby on a plane, with no medical personal present, sitting near the window, near the motor, while my ears are popping VS. have her deliver my child

If there was a possibility to rate Dr Jones-Monte zero stars I would have. I made an appointment with this OB/GYN as a new patient to her. I came in for my yearly physical & I needed her help with a few things. My husband and I were trying to conceive, a year previous to this I was tested for PCOS which came back negative but was informed that when I was ready to start trying that I needed to see a doctor that I most likely wouldnt gm get pregnant on my own. Her only advice to me was to download a cycle tracking app which I told her I had already done and had been keeping up with it for the past seven years, but she didnt seem to care & didnt want to look at it. During my exam I also mentioned to her a lump that I had found the previous month in my Labia Majora that was concerning to me. She barely touched it and told me it was just a swollen lymph node & that as long as it didnt hurt or get any bigger that it was nothing to worry about & that it would go away in a few months. I was completely heartbroken at the fact that I went into this appointment to have questions and concerns answered only to be dismissed. Seven months later after still being unable to conceive my husband and I found a different doctor. The lump that I found was still there but there was no change so the new doctor decided that he didnt see the need to look at it until I had an exam. When it came time for my next physical the lump was still there and the new doctor was finally able to take a look. He originally thought that it was a cyst and started to do an I&D, when he made his incision he soon realized that it was more like a tissue and not a fluid filled cyst. He explained that he now get like it was a Lymphoma & asked if I had any lumps anywhere else as they are usually found in more muscular areas like the back or shoulders, I told him no. He said that they are usually not cancerous but he was going to send it off to pathology to be sure. Four days later the results of the pathology came back as Proximal-type Epithelioid Sarcoma of the Vulva. I had cancer and Dr Jones-Monte blew me off. Eight short days after receiving my diagnosis I took a positive pregnancy test. A pregnancy that I had been trying for for so long I now wasnt even able to get excited about because there were so many unknowns with my diagnosis. My point of this review is for others to advocate for yourself, push for answers & do NOT allow a doctor to dismiss you because they are uneducated. They say Vulvar Cancer only affects older women or post menopausal women, Im here to tell you that I saw her when I was 30 years old. I have been in contact with so many women my age and even younger, there are women older than me who went misdiagnosed for many years simply because of their age. If you want a doctor that will listen to you and your concerns I suggest you go elsewhere because you will not get that from Dr Jones-Monte, oh and she never even made a note about the lump in my chart, completely ignored the fact that it was there.
