I hired Kenneth Barnhorst to abate asbestos popcorn ceilings in the entire home 1200 sqft. He removed the popcorn while fully ruining the sheet rock in the ceilings. He put 2 holes in my walls, ruined my yard by driving off the driveway, him and his workers were smoking in my home (which I saw when I pulled up unannounced) and when I confronted him he said he had no knowledge of that. There were cigarette ashes all over my floors and it reeked of smoke. One of his workers tried to steal my tools that were there he admitted to me. He used all my trash bags and painters tape I had there without replacing the products used. He used the tools I had there such as my grinder and staple gun. He put staples all in my walls and cabinets where he was hanging plastic and didn't remove the staples. Instead, he hammered them in which dented the sheet rock and has made it impossible to remove the staples. He did not pull permits for the job "completed". When I saw the home I noticed he didn't remove popcorn in 3 closets and part of the living room. When he finished those places he didn't re cover the vents and walls. He left plastic covering the countertops and didn't clean up after himself. Also be aware the only good review here is himself.

I don't even know what to even say about this. My friend went through Capital Environment LLC to scrape the asbestos off the ceilings so that she could have smooth ceiling and not worry about asbestos etc. Well instead she got a nightmare. The guy stated they could have it done in 4 days, he was suppose to start February 4th. He is just now leaving today. He put holes in the walls, staples all over the floor, ceiling, cabinets, etc, gauged the ceilings, kept trying to leave the job halfass done. Kept trying to get money throughout the whole process even though she told him he would get paid at the end of it. Messed up the front yard, smoked in the house and left ashes all over the floor and then tried to lie about it. One of his guys tried to steal her tools that she had in the house and on top of it used her tools that didn't even need to be used for the job.... staple gun, a grinder, etc then lied about using them. I highly recommend NEVER going with this company. They also caught a attitude whenever we asked why they were using staples and had them all in the cabinets and stuff!
