The assistant director can be very rude. most times she was right in what she was saying, but her delivery was very horrible. She would openly say rude things to her staff in front of everyone, and be very dismissive. Jen, the director, I thought she was nice , but I also feel like she lets the assistant do way more then she should. It will be hard for Jen to keep staff with the way the assistant director talks to ppl. I do like that they are serious about the children learning and having food Hopefully she realizes that she cannot talk to everyone like that. I could go on with how they handled things but with time others will know exactly what Im talking about if they havent experienced it already. The name of the new center they are moving to is called Speedway Academy& Preschool

New to the area and was looking for a daycare that help with the development of children creativity freely. And came across For A Purpose. At first glance I was like I dont know. But never judge a book by it cover. My son has been attending here for the past seven months and he loves it. Wakes up everyday saying mommy I have to go to school. I love it, communication skills are excellent, there vision of every child begin able to learn freely, independently through your child own creativity is amazing. Im thankful for the team and so excited for the transition to the new building and the new name. For A Purpose has really transition from a moth to a butterfly and me and my family are so grateful to be apart the new location, new building and there new name of Speedway Academy.from the bottom of my heart I say thank you, childcare is all ready hard to find, but when you find a team that treat your child like family its amazing it means a lot to us parents who have to leave our child/children 8 to 9 hours a day. Keep up the great work!!!

This daycare is the worst daycare I ever sent my son to. At first they seemed nice but after him being there for two months and he was still clinging to me and crying. On a daily basis when I dropped him off. He came home with a bite mark on his hand from another child. This was the only time they could tell me where the mark came from. Other times he came home with bruises on his body and no one could tell me where they came from. Like a bruise on his cheek like someone had pinched him. My wife went to pick him up and he was sitting in a soiled diaper. When she asked why he hadn't been changed and mentioned his diaper rash. The next morning we were notified that he could not return and that we were not allowed on the premises to pick up his belongings and shot records so he could start at a new daycare. So I asked what was the reason for them stopping his care one of the owners answered and said that we questioned there care too much. I honestly think they were mistreating my son. It's really sad he was only a year old at the time. They are moving locations. Which isn't a big deal. But they are changing their name and what would be the reason for that. Unless they are trying to make people think it's a different staff and not For a Purpose Daycare. And the owner being okay with that isn't right. A daycare should be transparent and not mind you asking questions. But questions you shouldn't have to ask is where and why your kid keeps coming home with bruises that no one could say what happened. Them stopping his care and moving locations and changing their name and my son's demeanor around the staff answers my questions. I think they should do background checks and have cameras set up. I would think twice about who I leave my kid with. And thank God I don't have to take him there anymore.
