Stay cleartook deposit or design fee to come out to house (2 months later) and never received a plan or estimate which I kept asking for. When ready to do job, owner said they didnt think they could fit in after we had given them a months lead time. Asked for money back and they refused. So take a persons money and give them nothing in return. Really small project and feel it wouldnt make him enough $$. In response to your lengthy response which you never addressed the fact we NEVER received an estimate, drawing and the numerous times I tried to reach out and there was no response. You threw out many dates and all the way thru I kept you in the loop because like you, it was covid times and everything was backed up. I was fair in doing my part and expected the same respect from you. Worked with many architectural landscapers in years gone by and paid a consult fee that was to be applied to the work completed but we were never given anything from your company. Guess you feel its your way of doing business to walk away with somebodies money and not make it right. Just a warning to others.

New homeowner here, I had no idea what I was doing with my backyard and I let it go to waste. Luckily, Outdoor Creations made an oasis out of it.

Must be nice. I was attempting to competitively bid a drainage / landscape job at my home. Following is the response that I received from these folks. Outdoor Creations Landscape & Design 11:09 AM (1 hour ago) We do not do bids. Our consult fee is $225.00. Yes, I will. You never responded verbally, all communications were via E-mail. My opinion, my money, your opinion, your business. After many years of contract negotiation I do not commit funds without a competitive bid ... if you want a consultation fee, build it into your bid price and let your offer stand on it's own merit, hopefully the bid and completed work will stand up to the test of performance. Good luck to you in the next 20 years of your enterprise.

Would not recommend!  I've worked with many landscape architects in the past and not sure how they stay in business.  They required a "deposit" to make an appointment, came to our home 2 months later and when I asked for a plan and estimate, never received one.  Process started in March.  We were getting ready to make a change to side porch that would need landscaping when finished.  When we were ready to complete project owner said they weren't sure they could complete.  It was a small project and I really think it wouldn't make the company enough money.  We had kept them in the loop all the way thru project and gave them a time frame 2 months out.  Needless to say, I asked for my $200 back as I received nothing for the money paid to them and they refused.
