        If you want semi-custom cabinets, Edgewood might be a good fit for you. If you want high quality custom cabinets, spend the extra money and go with someone else. Pete was the low bidder on our house and we got what we paid for. The cabinets are probably good enough for most people, but these are not as good as the last 3 houses that we remodeled in California. We've had issues and I've tried to manage the situation as professionally as possible, but Pete won't even take the time to come out and meet with us in person. Make sure that you look really close at the drawings and don't take any verbal promises from Pete. Pete will also tell you "oh, that's just the software, it won't look like that, but when there is a problem, he will point back to the drawings. He also charged us 50% deposit + 40% upon delivery which only left 10% for installation and paint. Other cabinet guys who have looked at our job have told us that is not in line with industry standards. I also recommend having a mutually signed contract and not just a bunch of emails.       Thank you for the glowing review! 😁The problem with open source review sites is that anyone can say anything regardless of facts, but there are always 2 sides to every story.I can say the program I use to design with does have limitations, but all drawings are and including house prints never 100% and field adjusted.Trying to work something out when the vision is changed daily or the drawings were not understood completely is non conducive to me and other customers because one customer wants a face to face when I understand what is being asked and a change from approved drawings is called a change order. That is what you are after, after they were installed.I am honest and fair so when I price cabinets I dont raise the cost because of your location or wealth. I charge the same across the board regardless. As for 50% down and 40% at delivery with the 10% balance due at completion that is not unheard of, but you requested that they be installed and painted after so tops could be measured and I obliged which was discussed prior to delivery including that it would create more work on the installers and cost to me.Welcome to NC, but not sure what California has to do with cabinets or your remodel ... but
