        Last week, we Drove an hour up the mountain to go on a helicopter ride and when we got there the sign said open but there was nobody in the office and there was no helicopter. Responding to you, we were right in front of your building and it said open. There was no helicopter and no one answered the door. We drove over an hour to go on a helicopter ride. And I will give you a three-star cuz at least you responded back to this review. There's only one Cherokee helicopter place. We've been on your helicopter in the past.

        I would've liked to give this company a good review, but that's definitely not possible. I booked the Bryson City Flight Tour for myself, my Fianc and son, as a surprise, while we are here on vacation. They sent me a text message and had to cancel my reservation, as they only had one pilot, and he called in sick. Our cancelation was sent to me literally 30 minutes before our arrival time. Then (considering how much these tours cost) they told me that my refund should be expected to return to me within 15 business days....Sorry, but that's not acceptable. They did, however, ask if we would like to reschedule for the following weekend....Ummm, yeah because we can stretch our vacation out for another full week...okay......They did not offer any type of inconvenience discount for another time, nor did they offer any other tour package for the time we are here. It a gamble, take your chance if you want to.....We were literally on our way there as I found out this news...and now we are all disappointed as I had to break the news to my family, as well as, having to dish out more money to find something new and exciting to do on our vacation. In this horrible economy, a lot of us our having to deal with, they don't care. Thanks for nothing Cherokee Helicopters....

        My boyfriend and I had the best experience with this service. The young man at the desk was super friendly and knowledgeable and the pilot was perfect! He made our trip fun and showed us the beautiful parts that we would have never seen in a car. We plan to return for a longer flight very soon

      Ma’am , unfortunately we had maintenance happening on the helicopter today / weekend . We pride ourselves in having the best and safe aircraft around . The sign on the door said closed . The helicopter was sitting on the pad being worked on . You might have pulled up when they went to lunch . You didn’t visit this business , if so you would have seen this . At least the helicopter being there Be a nice human and delete this un truthful google review please . Edit - it was in maintenance ma’am , I am sorry for that . But I would rather the aircraft be in maintenance. Then get you and your family hurt ! I hope you see that. Safety is #1 don’t you think so ?

      Chris we apologize for the inconvenience. Sadly our pilot become sick during his pre flight and for the safety of our passengers and our pilot we had no choice but to close for the weekend . Refunds take between 3-5 business days to reflect back to your card . We pride ourselves in the safety of our customers and our pilots and always put that first . Again we deeply apologize for the short notice. If you’re ever back in Cherokee again please come by for a flight and we can give you 10% off of the flight package that you select.
